U.S. Wishlist Support Surges
PD Max returned with another message for the community—and this time, it comes with a shoutout to American fans.
“I’ve noticed a lot more interest from the U.S. recently, and I really appreciate it.”
The development team has seen a spike in Steam wishlist numbers since the last update, especially from players in the United States. Max encourages everyone to continue spreading the word and building momentum ahead of launch.
“Keep spreading the word and showing your support!”
In-Game Purchases: No Pay-to-Win
One of the most important parts of this update is a clear commitment to fair gameplay and avoiding pay-to-win mechanics.
“In GunZ: The Duel, we’re doing our best to make sure there’s no Pay-to-Win (P2W) stuff and that the game stays fair for everyone.”
Max reassures players that purchases will not affect combat balance or player stats. This is a major concern for veteran and competitive players—and the team is actively addressing it.
Cosmetic Armor System in the Works
While plans are still being finalized, the team is exploring a system where armor pieces are entirely cosmetic:
“We’re looking into changing armor that gives stat bonuses into just cosmetic avatars with no stats.
If we go ahead with this change, everyone will be on equal ground, and you’ll only need your skill to win.”
This would remove all stat advantages from gear, making personal skill the only factor that determines a match’s outcome. If implemented, it could be a game-defining change that earns trust from both new players and returning veterans.
Fair Play Is the Priority
Max emphasized their goal of supporting fair, competitive play across the board.
“We’ll keep working to make sure everyone has a fair shot, so don’t worry about it!”
This signals continued development toward a game environment where purchases are optional and cosmetic, not required for competitive success.
Community Feedback Still Drives Development
“I’ve been keeping an eye on your feedback on Discord and the community.
Your honest opinions really help us out, so feel free to share your thoughts and join the conversation!”
As always, Max encourages players to stay active in the community and share feedback. The team is listening—and making real decisions based on what the player base says.
A final reminder from Max:
“Just remember to keep it friendly and avoid getting too heated.”
What’s Next
“I’ll be back with more news soon!”
With wishlist numbers growing and a fair monetization approach in the works, the GunZ: The Duel remaster is building serious momentum. Future updates will likely expand on in-game systems, server plans, and launch details.
